Trev and Jo

I’ve known Trev and Jo for a couple of years now, so when they asked if I’d shoot their wedding, I knew it was gonna be a ripper. Trev is just an all round top Aussie bloke, he enjoys a fine swill of the ale, and knows pretty much everything there is to know about music. Jo is a dichotomy within herself: professional, elegant and lovely to boot… but give her a glass of fermented fruit and my word she knows how to party! These are my kinda people!

They held their ceremony in the 'Red Chamber' of Parliament House, which certainly had the most grandiose vibe I've ever encountered at a wedding! And that combined with the sumptuously simple yet classy dress designed by Wendy Makin, made this day a dream wedding! Also, I have to give massive kudos to Michael the owner of Aqua Linea (and his staff of course!). They made the reception an absolute treat... and how often do you see the actual owner/restaurateur on the floor, making sure EVERY guest has a drink in their hands and a smile on their face. What a legend!

Trev had told me the thing he liked most about my photography was the weirdness, having just been to a surrealist exhibition, and he wanted to know if I could bring some quirk to the table. Jo on the other hand, wanted a bit more romance and elegance served on said table. You came to the right place guys, but I’m sorry Jo… I think Trev won this round J
